Employee ID

At Bioweb we use the TIN number concept (taxpayer indentification number) to identify both a company/entity and en emploee/individual tax identification number or fiscal number, for simplicity purposes. At the TIN field, insert Employers need a TIN for invoicing, and employees need a TIN for their income tax return.

NIN (National Identification Number)

A national identification number, national identity number, or national insurance number that is used by the governments of a country as a means of tracking their citizens, permanent residents and temporary residents.

Within Bioweb, employees must be correctly identified in compliance with whatever laws are in force at the company's and/or employee's countries.

Social Security number (SSN)

A social security number is a number issued by governments as a means of tracking their citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents working activity.

Annual leave

The number of days of paid holiday that an employer gives its workers, per year (excluding paid public holidays). Also called "paid holiday", "paid vacation", "holiday entitlement", "annual leave entitlement", "paid annual leave", "allowance", the annual leave is paid time off work granted by employers to employees to be used for whatever the employee wishes.

Holidays

Paid public holidays within a certain country, usually called public holidays. Within UK, Bank and Public Holidays; within US, Holidays and Observances.

Work week

The days or hours that a person spends working during one week or weekly working hours. Also called working week, workweek. In the Western world it is typically 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.

Working day

A work day is considered every official work day of the week. Also called work day, or business day. In the Western world it is typically Monday through Friday.

Overtime

Overtime is the amount of time someone works beyond normal working hours.
